Egipto: La Pirámide Perdida (The Lost Pyramid)

En los límites de la meseta de Giza en El Cairo, un equipo de arqueólogos ha descubierto las ruinas de una estructura gigantesca. A medida que excavaban y se adentraban en sus cámaras, las pruebas iban mostrando que ésta podría ser la cuarta pirámide perdida de Giza. Según la leyenda, su construcción hace casi cinco mil años, fue una verdadera contrarreloj. El viejo faraón Dyedefra, entre su ascenso al poder y su muerte en tan sólo siete años, estuvo decidido a sobrepasar los logros de su odiado padre, el gran Keops, el faraón más poderoso que Egipto conoció. Dyedefra marcaría su supremacía en esta vida y en la otra al erigir la pirámide más alta jamás construida, que se alzaba 7,62 metros por encima de la Gran Pirámide de su padre, Keops, la más alta de Giza.

 

ENGLISH:At the edge of the plateau of Giza in Cairo, a team of archaeologists has discovered the ruins of a gigantic structure. As excavated and ventured into their cameras were showing evidence that this could be the lost fourth pyramid of Giza. According to legend, its construction nearly five thousand years ago, was a real trial. The old pharaoh Djedefre, including his rise to power and his death in just seven years, was determined to surpass the achievements of his hated father, the great Cheops, Pharaoh knew that Egypt's most powerful. Djedefre mark his supremacy in this life and in the other by erecting the highest pyramid ever built, towering 7.62 meters higher than the Great Pyramid of his father, Khufu, the highest of Giza.
